  • The Cahuella is a 50 foot wooden motor cruiser made by craftsmen from the island of Chiloé, and outfitted for your safety and comfort. Her hull is made of the traditional fishing boat style of the region while her interior was specifically designed for the comfort of her passengers. She features 4 double berth cabins, 2 fully equipped heads, a spacious living area with large windows, 7. 5’ ceilings, a talented cook, bilingual guide, and large zodiac boat for shore landings.

  • This itinerary is offered as a component for a complete Chile or South America itinerary. General booking conditions & deposits apply as per your entire itinerary + 25% boat trip cost is added to the initial deposit.

  • This trip begins and ends in the Pto. Montt/ Pto. Varas area of Chile, which can be reached via flights from Santiago and/or Punta Arenas. We recommend you plan to spend the night prior to your trip departure in this area. Evening flights to Santiago may be possible on your last day.

  • Private charters can be arranged on the Cahuella for customized itineraries throughout Patagonia and the coast of Chile for any period of time. Particular activities that can be emphasized are: fishing, wildlife viewing and birdwatching, sea kayaking, mountain climbing, scientific research, Patagonian hot springs tours, or simply cruising the fjords, islands and canals of the region.
