Bahia Discovery

Explore the beauty of Bahia, Brazil’s culture, nature and beaches with our 11 day Bahia Discovery itinerary.  First stop is the cultural hub of Salvador da Bahia, where you  walk the ancient streets to absorb its colonial past.  Learn the more recent history of Afro-Brazilian movements and the region's love affair with dance and self-expression.

Next you are on to Chapada Diamantina National Park and the town of Lençóis. Explore the beautiful and varied wildlife in the area, with some off the beaten path hikes.  Visit natural wonders, including complex cave systems and underground rivers. After all the adventure and exploring you are treated to several days of indulgence and relaxation, courtesy of the idyllic island of Tinhare, where you will have the opportunity to do as much, or as little as you like.
