Guyana Discovery

Our short discovery of Guyana you’ll have time to explore Georgetown or visit the mighty Kaieteur Falls before heading into the interior forests of the country. First stop is the riverfront lodge of Iwokrama. Set in a vast wilderness of over 1 million acres, there is plenty to explore here.  Hikes, wildlife viewing and boat rides will top your list.

Then it’s off to a rainforest lodge complete with their own canopy walkway for viewing wildlife, finishing up with two days at the local community of Surama.  Here you learn about the way of life of the local Amerindian people, explore he vast savannahs, and do some spectacular hiking. Through-out your journey you’ll have an opportunity for incredible bird-watching, wildlife observation and hikes to scenic look-outs.

Optional extensions to Karanambu Ranch and/or Caiman Lodge are offered.
