Children's policy: Children ages 2 thru 11 have can take advantage of discount rates of approximately 20% when sharing room with 2 adults in a triple or quad room. These rates are applied when children share the same cabin with their parents, or any sibling over 17 years of age. Triple and Quad rooms are available in Superior Room category only

Includes all meal, accommodations, and services, all river transportation, and transfer from and to the airport of Puerto Maldonado.

This itinerary is offered as a component for any complete Peru itinerary (usually requires a minimum of 7 nights of arrangements) General booking conditions & deposits apply as per your entire itinerary.

Trip notes:

• Boat Transportation:  All our boats are 20 foot long, roofed canoes with 55 hp outboard motors. Daily arrivals and departures from every port are scheduled as follows: From Pto. Maldonado to the lodge at 1:00 PM or 1:30 PM.  From the lodge to Puerto Maldonado: 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM/subject to change. Latin American Escapes will arrange all of your flights to coordinate with the current lodge transfer schedules
• We reserve the right to change the order of activities.
• Accommodations at Posada Amazonas Lodge offer 2  full or King beds (depending on room category) with private baths. Electricity is provided by a generator and is available in the common areas and rooms 3 x per day. During other hours light is provided by candles and kerosene lanterns.
• Our guides are biologists, tourism professionals, or community members. Unless noted otherwise, our guides speak English. We assign guides at 10:1 ratio . This means groups smaller than 10 people will be merged with other groups under one guide. If you would like a private guide or a guide in a language other than English please let us know.
• Our lodge staff not only sets the regional standard for quality service but is also made up of a majority of community members, providing valuable income from tourism to their families.
• Due to the proximity to the Bolivian border, a yellow-fever certificate (proof of vaccination) is recommended (Currently not required, although subject to change) on arrival at the Puerto Maldonado airport.
